~ In Love, Honor & Appreciation on Veteran's Day ~

This is dedicated to all the men that gave their
lives so selflessly for our freedoms. Never forgotten.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. May the
flag forever fly free, because of you each. To those that
have gone before us, rest in peace.

This WW II letter dated 1943 was found recently in our papers as we are completing the family genealogy. I was so thrilled because the stationary is fabulous in the old Red, White & Blue.

(** Wait until you see who I am going to see ... y'all)

One of our unknown Civil War veterans ... it is a Yankee, so it must be from MY side of the family, as Harold guarantees me it isn't from his, chuckle!

Dave Ford, Harold's only Uncle, served in WW II.

My dad, Don L. Middaugh, served in WW II

My husband, Harold, served in the Viet Nam war.

Our son, H. Emery fresh out of USN boot camp
