Mother had a boot for each of we 5 children that would be filled with candy & nuts ... what a thrill to find all those 'goodies' on Christmas morn ... particularly those filled raspberry candies.The wee candles Mother nestled in angels hair in her centerpiece on a round table in the front room. The little Santa had a back pack full of lollipops that were the best ever.
Our Christmas' would not be the same if these precious treasures were not shared with our kid-lings to hear the stories about each one, & my memories.
The rest of the year the boots are on display in Joshua's blue bedroom ...
