~ Hop On For A Country Ride ~

Oops! Sorry this one is a mailbox ... soooo that being the case, let's just take a leisurely stroll down this wonderful country road & enjoy the beautiful rustic barns, farms & fields ... the fresh country air ...

Clever mailbox ... wonder if they realize how
valuable that 'cycle is!

The birds are sharing their beautiful melodic greetings, see! there are squirrels scurrying
about preparing for the winter ...

The skies are a baby bird egg blue, a touch of
bright yellow florals sway in the soft breeze ...

Often not seen but there are still some old
lovely log cabins to be found ... they add such
a long ago charm to the terrain ...

I often wonder why beautiful old barns &
silos are left to deteriorate ...

A touch of fall is kissing the tree tops, soon to be in full regalia ... God has the most exquisite paint brush ever!

She still stands so stately against the lush
greenery of trees, I wonder what the little shed holds ...

There is such a romance about these precious treasures tucked gently on a farm or nestled amongst the overgrowth of trees & vines ...

It is such a joy to see the ones that are still being taken such good care of by the farmers ...

Was this a summer kitchen that the farmers used ... what stories do these walls hold ...

Can you hear the children running in & out & all about this sprawling farm house, lying beneath a tall oak tree in the summer's heat sharing dreams with their friends, working side by side with their parents in the fields, preparing for the harvest ...

Soon the machines will clear the crops from the fields for harvest & prepare the soil for the winter ...

Equipment will be sold off or prepared for the
weather that will soon be upon them ...

I often dream of a fresh coat of paint would so
bring her a beauty to enjoy, sparkling beneath
the crisp autumn sky ...

and often reflect if it were not for our farmer's arduous hard labor & loyalty to all of us, for the bounties of all the grains, fruits & vegetables, cattle & poultry, what would life be ...

I treasure each beautiful farm vision I come upon to enjoy & silently respect & honor with deep
appreciation the selfless work ...

these farmers give to & bring to us each.

Thank you.
