Sherry & I were in the historic Strasburg, PA vicinty. It is a beautiful old town ... on the weekends it is alive with the Amish & Mennonites. Enjoy an ice cream, sitting on the city corner benches & watching the world go by ...
one awesome sight to take in. These buggies are full of children, little boys w/straw hats on their wee heads, little girls w/bonnets ... peering out to the world.
A babbling brook along the way ... so soothing & serene.
Another beautiful PA barn ... you know how I love barns.
The other half of the above barn setting.
This fella was the one Sherry wrote of who was at the store that she 'thanked' for the picture ... he moved his buggy over behind the chiropractors office.
Magical music as these breathtaking horses go clippity clop down the road, heads held high in pride, stepping high, tail flying into the air ... as they trot down.
Harold & I were told that when they are ready to hitch a horse ... this sauntering, grazing horse perks up like lightening when they call his name, to harness.
A gentle man along side the road ...
Aren't they just the most beautiful creature that God created ... I love horses.
Prancing merrily along the way ...
Two darling children on their scooter bikes ...
These young ladies were doing lawn maintenance in the front of a business ... we wondered if it was an Amish or Mennonite company. Such simplicity. It was kind of nice to see fully clothed young ladies ...
Sherry will be back with more trip posts soon, & I will continue to follow her with photos, so stay in touch with us ...
** Please lift Ashley in prayer for her medical condition. She is very precious to us, we ask for healing.

*** Sherry is doing better & the pneumonia is breaking up. Continue to remember her in your prayers ... she was really very, very sick.
** I am digging in the dirt today. Have over 500 plants (yup!) to still get into the ground & it is cool so I am taking advantage of it.
