Waayyy back when, we used to have tricycle races all up & down the sidewalks. Oh, my! The heated attempts to get to the end of the block first. Peeling out, burning rubber ... chuckle!
Or, when we would build racer cars out of wood, cardboard & old wheels & race madly up & down the street ... someone standing guard on the corners so the cars would slow down ...
We would have roller skate races around the block. WHEW! what a sweat we'd work up.
Or, just running up & down the sidewalk to see who was the fastest. Totally out of breath & a side ache!
