Spring is arriving, ever so slowly ... but today the vintage feedsacks that just arrived needed a wee bath ... I so love
watching the colors flitting back & forth
on the line ...

So I thought I'd put on my sunglasses &
go out & enjoy the sunshine with my new

Before spring showers rain dogs tonight ...

fruits soon to be enjoyed ...
And maybe snitch a lollipop or fudge bar
as I prepare my baskets ...
Before the Easter Bunny pops out of his
hat for his visit ...
Maybe we'll take a drive out into the
beautiful countryside to see the birth of the farm animals dotting the hillsides ...
As we chat about whether it will be a sports filled vacation or soothing waters that lures us away this summer ...

It is such fun to reminisce all the wonderful creations our grandmothers & mothers made from these animal/flour/sugar sacks ... tea towels, table clothes, clothes, underwear (yup!), curtains ... frugal they were even saving the thread to crochet with.
