~ A Loving Thought & Prayer ~

"To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did". When God takes something from your grasp. He's not punishing you, but merely
opening your hands to receive something better.

The Will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you. God our Father, walk through my house and take away all my worries and illnesses and please watch over and heal my family & friends in Jesus name. Amen.

'A Miracle Party Invitation' ...

I know you all remember Colette Gauthier.
She was
given a 5 - 15% survival rate with her breast and spine cancer. She was looking for ideas on how to make her little home into a peaceful place, so when she came home from chemo and radiation, it felt HAPPY there. Colette had just moved into a rental. She searched for help and met Kelee Katillac
Kelee and her crew from the Guideposts Magazine went in and designed a beautiful room make-over
just for Colette.
A serene and peaceful sanctuary. A place to rest with beauty
surrounding her. The video reveal will begin Aug. 27th and you can see what
the crew did for Colette. She is so excited to share with us.It will be on each of our posts so please be watching.

~ The Holy Alphabet ~

Although things are not perfect

Because of trial or pain

Continue in thanksgiving

Do not begin to blame

Even when the times are hard Fierce winds are bound to blow God is forever able

Hold on to what you know Imagine life without His love

Joy would cease to be

Keep thanking Him for all the things

Love imparts to thee

Move out of "Camp Complaining"

No weapon that is known

On earth can yield the power Praise can do alone

Quit looking at the future Redeem the time at hand

Start every day with worship

To "thank" is a command

Until we see Him coming Victorious in the sky

We'll run the race with gratitude X alting God most high

Y es, there'll be good times and yes some will be bad, but..

Z ion waits in glory...where none are ever sad!

(You may have seen this a thousand times, but here it is again ... I love it ... have a beautiful summer day)

'Love Is ...' Singing In The Rain

... & loving it!

We are as happy as a pig in a puddle ...
we finally got RAIN, that wonderfully
sweet fresh smelling RAIN ... so welcomed
after this long,
hot summer 'flip me over,
I'm done on that side' heat wave.

Singin' in the Rain
was originally conceived by MGM producer Arthur Freed.

In the famous dance routine in which Gene

Kelly sings the title song while twirling an umbrella, splashing through puddles and getting soaked to the skin, he was actually dancing in water with a little bit of milk added, so that the water puddles and raindrops would show up better

on film. Kelly was sick with a 103-degree fever at the time. A common myth is that Kelly managed to perform the entire

song in one take, thanks to cameras placed at predetermined locations. However this was not the case as the filming of the sequence took place over 2–3 days.

Debbie Reynolds was not a dancer at the time she made Singin' in the Rain — her background was as a gymnast. Kelly apparently insulted her for her lack of dance experience,

upsetting her. Fred Astaire was hanging around the studio and found Reynolds crying under a piano.

Hearing what had happened, Astaire volunteered to help her with her dancing. Kelly later admitted that he had not been kind to Reynolds and was surprised that she was still willing to talk to him afterwards. After shooting the "Good Morning" routine, Reynolds' feet were bleeding. Years later, she was quoted as saying that making this film and surviving childbirth were the two most difficult experiences of her

life.

~ Luscious Pink Pretties & Lottery ~ (PINK SATURDAY)

Pink-a-li-cious cherub lamps ...

*** Thank you Miss Beverly for our PINK SATURDAY'S
... we so appreciate all you do for us. Please pop by to visit
all the other lovely PINK participants @

Our PINK teacup table lamps that we make ...

Our PINK Madeira vintage hanky lampshade adorned with
feather trim ... I love Madeira embroidered handkerchiefs ...

Our PINK rose teapot that inspired a teacup company to
actually make teapot lamps after they spoke with us ... what a
lovely PINK compliment to our business ...

Vintage PINK lady napkin holder. Most were created in
the 1950s, in Japan. Don't you just love the wee ones
peeking out the side of her PINK skirt. Her PINK hat
is a candle holder. These are very pricey nowadays.

They were very popular, often the skirt would hide a
toothpick holder ... from when cloth napkins were still
in vogue at each meal.

And, my final PINK is a PINK Md. lottery ticket, that of an Arizona PINK lady who SWEARS she NEVER wins ANYTHING ... big or small, sometimes small is better than none at all. I did chuckle when I read the numbers the day she left for home.

(Just found it tucked away in some papers set aside for her ... enroute, sweet sis!)
